The human energetic structure is consisted of:

  • seven subtle energetic centra or chakras

  • different subtle energetic bodies that encompass the physical body. The auras overlap the physical body and each other.

  • multiple subtle energy channels (nadis and meridians)

The word 'chakra' comes from Sanskrit and means 'wheel'. Chakras are vortex-shaped energetic entry portals that absorb, process and then transmit vital energy (called 'Prana' in India and 'Qi' in China) via the nadis and meridians to the endocrine glands, nerve plexuses and the rest of the physical body, as well as to the different subtle energetic bodies (auras) to which they are connected. Every chakra provides vital energy to a specific area of the physical body. This vital energy is essential for the homeostasis of the physical body and ensures structure and order of the physical body.

There are seven main chakras. Each chakra absorbs vital energy of a specific energetic frequency. The lower three chakras primarily absorb telluric energy (coming from the Earth), the higher three chakras primarily absorb cosmic energy (coming from the Cosmos). The fourth chakra or heart chakra is located in the middle and forms the connection between the lower three and higher three chakras.

The chakras are located in the subtle-energetic bodies (auras) and connect these subtle energetic bodies to the physical body.

The chakras are involved in the development of higher consciousness of man. The degree to which the chakras are open is related to the personal and spiritual development of an individual.
